报告人简介:

  Dr. Yiliu Liu is currently a researcher at SyMO-Chem B. V., also works as a visiting researcher in the group of Prof. E. W. (Bert) Meijer at Eindhoven University of Technology. Dr. Liu received his B. S. from Xi‘an Jiaotong University (2008), and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University (2013) under the guidance of Prof. Xi Zhang. His research is focused on supramolecular polymer chemistry, including supramolecular polymerization, single-chain polymeric nanoparticles and self-assembly of sequence-controlled polymers.   

报告内容简介:

  Supramolecular polymer chemistry, an interdisciplinary area of polymer science and supramolecular chemistry, has brought new vigor and vitality into material science. The reversible non-covalent interactions and polymeric structure endow supramolecular polymer systems with not only traditional characteristics of polymers, but also dynamic properties. The research of supramolecular polymer chemistry can be generally divided into two topics, including supramolecular polymerization and supramolecular engineering of polymers. This talk will introduce several examples on both of the two topics, e. g. cucurbituril-based supramolecular polymers and functional single-chain polymeric nanoparticles.
