Keynote Speech 1: Computational Guidance and Control
By Ping Lu, a professor and Chair of the Aerospace Engineering Department, San Diego State University.
His research interests and expertise are in aerospace guidance, flight control, and autonomous trajectory planning and optimization. Prof. Lu is an AIAA Fellow, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics.
Keynote Speech 2: Information Fusion and Sensor Network Surveillance
By Henry Leung, a professor of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary.
His current research interests include adaptive systems, information fusion, robotics, sensor networks, signal processing and wireless communications. He has over 200 journal papers and 200 refereed conference papers. Prof. Leung is a fellow of the IEEE.
Keynote Speech 3: Mission Design of DEorbiting SpaceCrafts using ElectrodyNamic Tethers (DESCENT)
By George Z.H. Zhu, a professor of York University in Toronto, Canada. He is currently the Tier I York Research Chair professor in Space Technology. He is the author of more than 200 articles. His research interests include dynamics and control of electrodynamic tether system for space debris removal, autonomous on-orbit service robot for space debris removal, and multifunctional materials for spacecraft structures. He is the Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Space Science and Engineering. Prof. Zhu is the Fellow of Engineering Institute of Canada, associate Fellow of AIAA, Fellow of Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering, senior member of IEEE, member of ASME, and a licensed Professional engineer in Ontario.
