报告人介绍：
ONG Choon Nam is the Director for the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI) and a professor at the School of Public Health. He has published more than 280 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and with a h-index of 48. His main research interest is Environmental Health Sciences. Since 1985, he has served as a consultant to the World Health Organization (WHO) on many occasions and was involved in 12 of its Health Criteria publications. He is an editorial board member of several international journals on environment and sustainability, and currently the Associate Editor of Environmental Research. He is a visiting professor to several prominent universities and serves as a Scientific Advisor to the China Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He chaired the International Expert Panel which advised the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources of Singapore on the NEWater study. He is also an advisor to the US National Water Research Institute and has been consulted often by international health agencies on issues related to environmental health. He is a member of the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-Water Quality Expert Panel.
