Biography Dr. Georg Oenbrink

• born 23.August 1957, married, two sons
• 1978 – 1984 Chemistry Study University Bremen
• 1984 – 1987 PhD at Universität Bremen in the group of Prof. Dr. Detlef Gabel
Thesis „Synthesis of boron-containing water-soluble Porphyrins for the Neutron-Capture-Therapy”“
• 1987 / 1988 Application Technology Thermoplastics at Dynamit Nobel AG / Troisdorf
• 1989 – 1996 Global Product Management TROGAMID/DYFLOR at Hüls AG / Marl
• 1996 – 1998 Head of Research Department in the Business Line Engineering Plastics at Hüls AG / Marl
• 1998 – 2001 Head of Research Department and R&D-Speaker of the Business Line High Performance Polymers at Evonik Degussa GmbH
• 2002 – March 2010 Senior Vice President Innovation Management of the Business Line High Performance Polymers at Evonik Degussa GmbH
• Since April 2010 Head of Innovation Networks & Communications of Evonik Industries AG within Corporate Innovation Strategy & Management organization, reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer of Evonik Industries AG
